This is the closest to the mmc actually believing he won’t end up with her in this series (and maybe Matteo’s book if it had been better written lol)

What I want for one darkrom book is that the mmc doesn’t get the girl… like one book where it’s realistic and heartbreaking because the man doesn’t get any kind of redemption and the fmc leaves him behind and actually moves on (idk what this book will be like but I wanted to get this thought off my chest)
