See I actually think all this would have made a good book. If it was, like, actually the book. Instead of being just some random stuff thrown in that has nothing to do with the main character of the last three books.

I like Sarah and all but what does any of this have to do with what I assume will be the eventual plot? Isn't Summer supposed to be discovering dark family secrets? She's just hanging out at music camp. I assume her mom is about to die or something and she'll have to go home, but why even bother with the tangent? Just have the tragedy strike already.
