the pacing is Painfully slow its getting boring. i was binging but now i havent picked it up for two days. The build up is a Lot, but i do appreciate it because we are given a solid base for Wes and maggie’s relationship. I can def see them working and growing together which is Great!
Wes bothers me a Little. leaving ur family for a prize u maybe wont get… it makes sense for Him but its just a shitty thing to do

like it so far!! i absolutely adored the first chapter. wes and maggie contrast each other beautifully. im a little nervous for Wes considering he knows jack shit about alchemy, but I hope his progress is realistic & not something like He has Magic Alchemy Intuition.
