Ok not to be hypothesising on a dead guys potential trans-ness but like. Jesus Christ how did the guy who wrote Infinite Jest write an extremely sweet lesbian love story where men are the villain and love is the winner. I know it’s fiction I know I know this was pre-Infinite Jest maybe he was just less jaded or something, all I can say is that the evidence keeps mounting in a weird way. This was wonderful tbh.
