Thrain is so lovely & silly & seeing him struggle with alcoholism is truly heartbreaking. Kitty is perfect at balancing out the struggles him & Varinn encounter. She is the woman they both always needed but never knew they could acquire. Varinn may act tough but deep down he’s a softie
