Iirc, I think Armand’s backstory is hinted at here & there in the AMC show, & he IS a very reserved (and dangerous) character in both the books & show.

So far, Jonathan Marosz is doing a great job narrating the audiobook version.
I miss Simon Vance doing the readings, however I do like him as Lestat’s “voice” for the first 5 books, while Marosz is Armand’s “voice” for book 6.
