I’m really struggling with the audiobook version of this. I am enjoying the story itself but the narrator’s apathetic (?) tone for all of the characters is making me not want to listen. I may abandon this until I can get a paper copy of the book.

Interesting! I think the audiobook is why I liked it so much!

I can’t quite nail down what irks me. I’ve listened to other books she’s narrated and didn’t mind them. I read the first book via hard copy so maybe the voices just aren’t “right” in my head. Unsure.
