It would have been such an amazing fantasy book if only romance wasn’t showed down my throat in every direction. I mean she just found out her mother is dead and is hyperventilating and devastated and in the same breath she’s being aroused by kressa across the hall… can we spend at least a second acknowledging what happened? Next chapter they are sleeping together mother forgotten..
