due to his business troubles, Marcus almost takes over four days. he goes to Scarlett’s office and that’s how Jace figures out Marcus is the one that sexually harassed her. when jace sees him next, his neck gets cut and he almost dies. once he wakes up it’s our penthouse this our staff that rich people shit. it ends with the whole blindfold thing and now Axel and Dakota are getting married the hell.

jace obviously wants to be with her so he tries to get around here as much as possible. they spent a lot of time together horseback riding to him opening up about his family. the guy that harassed her was one of his closest friends/business partners. she has a problem with control and power because of her biological father who used to abuse her and her mom, jace saw this and gets her father arrested.

so much to unpack here. scarlett starts out getting harassed at work. she goes to a bar with her coworker and write a revenge list and that’s where she meets jace. he needed a weekend to relax, and they had enough chemistry where he took her home basically. beautiful weekend lots of fun and then she found out he bought her business bc of this they can’t date and he still wants to know the guy that harassed her.
