First chapter really put in perspective the time we are currently living in and why it is imperative to go back and read it to understand the mechanism of capitalism. Also, it makes you understand that the development of capitalism to monopoly is the right march toward socialism and wanting to break monopolies is reactionary and counterproductive for socialism
