(cont.) in all honesty, i thought this book would end up having men in different fields where men are nothing less than their pride and ego to feed on. a book about a world without women. 'the another country' totally changed my mind, and it's the cherry on top! it gave 'without women' a diff perspective.

(cont.) this story led me into thinking that women in this book may be a reflection of how women in this society are viewed. they are soft and nurturing compared to men who are often perceived as the embodiment of masculinity. women are more inclined to accept their emotions as they are compared to men. without women, they appear to have more to prove to themselves & rather less interest in addressing their emotions

i'd like to tweak some lines off my first update. am i liking it? YES! i'm enjoying it very much. after reading 'the undefeated', i thought this would eventually circle back to sports that i have no interest in (but he writes it so well that even without prior knowledge, you'd find yourself extremely hooked still)

firstly, the title is intriguing enough for me to buy this book. most importantly, and luckily, it was on sale lol. am i liking it? i have not a clue. since there's noticeably a rise to the usage of the term 'girl's girl', i'm almost certain ernest hemingway is the counterpart of the term. i find it hilarious that i just read through the first story about bullfighting- to which i don't have any prior knowledge of
