I thought because this was described as a story modeled after real life events it would grab me and keep my attention. The way the book starts made it difficult for me to submerge myself into the storyline quickly which is what keeps me reading. It also had familiarity to other ship wreck stories and that did not peak my interest. Unfortunately I abandoned this book shipwrecked on the book shelf.
