I urge my fellow book club members to read the rest of the annihilation books. Every character and element is so well considered and layered in. This is NOT mystery box slop that one who stopped reading after the first book may have thought. It’s all so interesting and novel and satisfying and rich with commentary and subtext for those who seek it.
