"Hers was an intuitive emotional intelligence"? Several times while reading this novel I thought to myself that Miranda's complete lack of emotional intelligence was coming across not so much as self-centeredness, but rather just plain stupidity. But now I'm supposed to believe she has good instincts? She's been wrong about every single thing since the start!

I was able to borrow a copy at the library and keep reading. Thank God for Burt who is the only person in this novel capable of rational thought. Everyone else is crazy, including Miranda
