Ever since the last book I've had a strong dislike of Bas. So, right now? I am sorely tempted to put this in my DNF pile. The cover's wrong, the first 60 pgs are kind of meh for me & kind of weak, she's a bit too open for someone who's been on the run. Mostly, she comes off weak since pg 1, too weak willed for a MOTHER who had the strength and will to keep her child safe by staying away from her. Doesn't make sense.

Too annoying...been stuck in the same place now for a few weeks. It's going in the DNF pile. Only person I'm totally loving and can tolerate now is baby girl. Her parents can stare at each other and have sexual tension for the rest of their lives for all I care. Idgas. Peace.
