I cannot lie, mainly I keep thinking "this would have been much better suited to be an anime film, and she is not doing herself a favour having actively evoked this comparison" and also, "whoever was the editor should have been much stricter with forcing the author to 'cut her darlings' and shorten the story". And this at not even the halfway point, not sure how optimistic this is making me feel...
