Honestly, even with what happened to Justin, it is kind of unrealistic that Callum diagnosed Oliver's appendicitis so easily over the phone. Also, I cannot express enough how fucking childish Justin is.

I mean, this is a slow burn but it doesn't feel like one because they've been attracted to each other for almost the whole book.

I wasn't really seeing step dad vibes from Callum but now I'm getting it a bit... Still, I wish he had a few more interactions with Oliver cause if they're gonna end together, him and Eden, then he is going to be his step dad.

I like that Oliver is finally seeing a bit of the truth about his father because it is annoying that he likes him so much when he does NOTHING for them. As for Callum and Eden, I like that they're friends and the banter, sometimes, but it can also be a but cringe.

I'll admit I don't know much about running a website but how does Callum make enough money to pay 3 employees and himself from a website where they post stories? Do people have to pay for a subscription to read these stories? And who is actually paying to read stories from strangers when reddit is free?

Still cringe but I do like that Eden didn't stay in a job where she wasn't appreciated and that she's actually very independent. I also like that they're finally getting to know each other.

Now, I don't know if it's just me but the way Oliver behaves feels too exaggerated. I mean I've always loved spending time with my mom so I don't get it and I feel bad for Eden.

They are so weird and cringe. I'm really kind of hoping they're like 40 something because at least then, their millenial jokes make sense...

The dynamic between them is so weird: they're comfortable with each other and at the same time they're not. I definitely like that Eden is a lot more open than I thought she would be.

I don't love the physical appearance descriptions we got so far: like it feels like whenever they see each other, they're thinking of how hot the other one is and they've only known each other for 24 hours...

I don't remember the writing being this cringe in the other books. The following quotes had me rolling my eyes: "your mom", "bro", "I bleed for one fifth of the month and I don't die, you should be at least a little afraid of me"... I don't know if it's just me but i don't think these are as funny as the characters seem to think...
