This is nowhere close to the ingenuity, whimsy and magic of the 1st book. 😞
The first part has been VERY repetitive - not sure how many times exactly I've read about the rules for "the travelling" but it must've been at least four or five times, sometimes even in quick succession.
In the second part, which I just about started, that kid is currently annoying the crap out of me.
