I’m…. About ready to relegate this to a DNF. Maybe it’s just my fully developed frontal lobe, but even the statement on the cover irks me. “She is built for a man like me - a savage”. Dude you are 17 or 18, a senior in high school. You are a child, a boy. Not only do you not need someone who’s “made for you” at this age, you’re just a rich brat who is used to getting his own way. 😒

OMG. The GWS stands for great white sharks?!?! And they’re on the swim team? It’s a non-magical fanfic of The Covenant. 🤦♀️ I’m definitely not the target audience, this is just ridiculous. I generally try to give it 50 pages… but this is definitely a DNF.
