Not sure I’m liking this… she captured him but is still in training?? He’s supposed to be the most powerful mage & an untrained hunter captured him? Too much world building/rules immediately thrown at you & so far a lot of it is not needed. Didn’t need to know the logistics behind why you have a pet owl that’s basically attached to your shoulder. Why was he in the body bag with you is more important.

Haha same. I am liking her narration style, but it is sooo messy. I thought we were getting flashbacks before she captured him, but apparently it's after? It sounds unbelievable to me as well
