Reynje Oh, I need to read this! It's one of those lurkers on my TBR that I never quite get around to. Must remedy immediately.

Jo Oh Rey, it's SO good and SO sad. :(
I've had a lump in my throat for the whole time I've been reading it.

Reynje Every. Single. Time. I go into Dymocks, I pull this book out and look it and yet I never leave with it.

Clearly, I'm an idiot.

Ruby Tombstone Lives! I'm dying to read something set in Humpty Doo! My best mate from childhood lives there. She has a tiny jacuzzi set in the grass on her massive bushland block. We sip cocktails & watch the wallabies :)

Ruby Tombstone Lives! Of course, I'll be devastated if it's written by someone who is completely ignorant about the NT. Nothing worse than stupid stereotypes!

Jo Rey, you really are an idiot. This book has Rey stamped all over it and I'm only half way through (if that).

Ruby, I'm not entirely sure what NT stands for (I'm probably being dense) but there doesn't seem to be stereotypes! :D

Cocktails and wallabies... is there a better combination?!

message 7: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Jo it stands for the Northern Territory - it's a state in Australia :)

This is on my to-read list now! looking forward to your review.

Ruby Tombstone Lives! Sorry, Jo. Yes the Northern Territory is where the book is set. I'm just REALLY hoping it's not the usual Crocodile Dundee crap!
