1. Cory is very stupid.
2. I have a bone to pick with most retellings of the Hymn to Demeter. Demeter is always portrayed as a toxic mother and Hades as a understanding partner, but Demeter was the only one who fought for her daughter's autonomy when Hades took it against her will. That's another thing: Persephone was KIDNAPPED by Hades. She never wanted to marry him. Why not adapt that part of the myth?
