The fisherman does so, and the prince grants the wish, but his wife is not satisfied.

Review of story 7 - Briar Rose

Sleeping Beauty, except her name was Briar Rose due to the hedge that grew around the palace. Story has some interesting spiritual implications with the magic numbers (13 fairies, 13 astrological signs?...)and 100 year curse.

lavenderbud Two people die this way, and finally an old knight takes on the challenge, with advice from an old witch in the forest who tells him not to drink the wine the youngest princess brings him and instead pretend to be asleep, and gives him an invisibility cloak. By this method, the knight manages to follow the princesses to the fantasy realm and figure out what they're doing. On the third day he reports it all to the king, who lets him choose as a wife whomever he wants out of his daughters. He chooses the eldest one, as he is old.

Kinda anticlimactic? The youngest princess keeps feeling like someone is following them but nothing comes of it. I feel like the story should have been longer, and had a different ending.
