Another obligatory status update to say how much I am enjoying this so much I love Anne Rice. As soon as we get to the Talamasca records of the Mayfair witches, I have been inhaling this book!

I haven’t read Anne Rice since I was a teen and it’s bringing on so much nostalgia/love/awe. Amazing writing. And no wonder I love romance/erotica/gothic genres so much. It’s all because of her 😂😂

I am not my mother. Both Deborah and Charlotte say that about their relationship to Lasher.

Damn.

I can’t buy trade paperbacks anymore for thick books. I don’t enjoy the physical reading experience of holding it!

The spirit is kind of hot tho 🙊

A proper gothic. I think the main leads are finally about to meet! 😭

This is definitely a daytime read. Really enjoying it now but hard to focus on at the end of the day. And we are still in set-up 🤣🫶
