Dnf at 20%. This slavery shit just ain't for me. I was hyped up for this one just to find out it's garbage. I even bought book 2 😭 I know a lot of people liked it but I guess dark fantasy just isn't my cup of tea. Not to mention this book put me in a month long reading slump. This year simply isn't my best one based on reading.

Oh... I DNF'ed this one too. I think you should try to read it again at some point. Maybe it was just right book, wrong time. 🤷♀️
