This book is a little ridiculously written at times. I’m going to finish it because I’m halfway done already, but I would be surprised at this point if I gave it higher than 3 stars. It is so repetitive, and Imogen’s never-ending self-deprecating overthinking and narrow view of queerness is getting on my nerves at this point. 😅

Honestly the pacing is a bit slow for me. Not much is happening. I feel the “Young Adult” genre with this one so maybe it’s just because I’m 31. But all the scenes so far feel very dull. Super low-stakes book that doesn’t have a lot happening. But, I plan to stick it out since I’ve made it this far lol.
