I know the author explains herself when addressing the women by their married names instead of their maiden ones but I still don’t like it. Also it’s slightly disappointing to read about Hungary being split in half after the Treaty of Trianon when, in fact, Transylvania had an ethnic majority of Romanians and the Alba Iulia proclamation shows the unanimous vote to unite with The Kingdom of Romania…

OMG THEN RESPECT THEIR WISHES ☹️
It’s not enough that most of them were pushed to extreme acts of violence because of domestic abuse and social pressure, we now have to disregard this and act as if those were their chosen names? :((
