In the middle of the night, Sheriff Allen Pangborn arrives, accusing Beaumont of killing someone in the location of his and his wife's second home in Castle Rock. The sheriff seems to believe he has hard evidence that Thad has committed these violent crimes. The crimes are also detailed.
