Here There Be Tigers - I attended 1st grade at PS41 on Staten Island, NY; the bathroom was, as it is in this 4pger, referred to as The Basement.When permitted to go, we had to use the buddy system & go in pairs.Now I understand why! 4 stars
Currently in the middle of The Monkey. My cuz had one of those cymbal bashing monstrosities!

"a short story is like a quick kiss in the dark from a stranger. []but kisses can be sweet, & their very brevity forms their own attraction. Writing short stories hasn't gotten easier for me over the years; it's gotten harder.[]The thing to do is keep trying, I think. It's better to keep kissing & get your face slapped a few times than it is to give up altogether."
