Lif engaged Gudvarr in combat to which Gudvarr pushes him back into a frost spider and makes to escape when lif kills the spider and then kills Gudvarr, hooking his shield with his bearded axe then punching the axe into gudvarrs face and swiftly killing him after

Varg catches braks crew by surprise killing many of them and freeing taras from their onslaught. Now he engages brak in a one on one where he lets brak think he is winning but then pounces on him with his wolf strength and pins him to a tree with a seax through his belly. Now refna and the children join in stabbing and slashing brak for killing einar

Orka is moving through the battlefield killing all who cross her as ulfrir and lik rifa are locked in combat both bleeding from each others attacks as skuld stabs one of lik rifas eyes with ornas scissors. Gudvarr and sigrun lock into a shield wall against the battle grim as grend smashes gudvarrs shield to pieces to which Gudvarr responds by leaping out of the shield wall, which kills the person next to him and huddling on the ground as sighvat kills sigrun and her drengrs collapse. Just as Gudvarr is escaping with the dying sigrun lif intercepts him ready to get his revenge

Ulfrir his biting at lik rifa while his stone hounds attack rotta with his ulfrir kin fighting the trolls coming to lik rifas aid

Ulfrir and his crew burst into the clearing, rushing at the unprepared warrior that breaks out into chaos with Varg and rokia killing yrsa who killed torvik and now Varg moves on brak who fights against Taras and Iva

Just as rotta gets snakas heart and is about to eat it stealing it from lik rifa vesli swoops in as ulfrir and his band ambushes what remains of lik rifas troupe

Snaka is in lik rifa and rottas camp getting the oaths of all there sworn to him. Now he sits and eats aware that lik rifa and rotta revived him to help fight ulfrir but as he eats he is poisoned by lik rifa and rotta who then stab him through the neck and kill him then carving out his heart ready to eat it and gain power.

Ulfrirs group are still recovering with frek talking about how he liked sviks story about the way of the world and how choices like Elvar made matter. Lif begins singing and tries to make a move on halja who says no as she likes women but says that Saeunn seems to like him. rokia makes a move on Varg after seeing this while ulfrir sets about finding allies and hrung says Elvar had a plan
