Olivia Bagshaw’s Reviews > The Lieutenant of Inishmore > Status Update

The funniest thing I've read this year so far, and it's about an ultra-violent INLA lieutenant having his cat brutally murdered. Martin McDonagh, I don't know how you manage to twist such bleak things into riotous comedy, but you do. Gripping from the start and full of brilliant jokes, twists, and developments. Will likely finish it this afternoon.
