He argues that because Jesus upheld the mosaic law that we should too. He also points to the standards of judging Joseph, Zechariah, etc as being righteous was their adherence to OT law. He also argues that bc the Apostles quote OT laws to support their imperatives to NT Christians this lends support to their agreement with their abiding in NT era.

I think root of problem is his understanding of covenant theo.

Pet peeve: saying "the Puritans" said this. Thats a big historical claim that takes time to demonstrate not a few cherry-picked quotes.

Also this:

"If something was sinful in the OT, it is likewise sinful in the age of the NT"

Hes got no category for positive law.
