The bike scene is HOT with capital letters.
Now he understands why we love Tristan, he is such a complicated man!
And, the iconic infamous sentence was met with as much iconic enthusiasm as you expect it to be from Paul!!!!

"No one else gets to kill you, Ms. Vitalio," he spoke quietly. "The last face you see before you die will be mine. When it comes to death, you're mine."

Okay Tristan is laconic
And I think in his free time one of the activities he does is stare at himself in the mirror without saying a word
Intimidating even himself

I forgot their banter was this sharp!!!! Ugh I love them🥹

Don't hate Tristan as much as chp 1 & 2, the chapter also wasn't as intense, but there's a power dynamic that Tristan is trying to cement
Loves his predator aura
And apparently liked the introduction of Tomas (G here: my man completely missed the major foreshadowing happening there lol)

Ugh love how Ru takes classic tropes/micro-tropes and makes them meaningful for her characters
