I did not remember Corbans dad being so crazy! He dunked Corbans had in water just to drive home his point lol I get teaching him a life lesson but man he's so tough on him

this is such an interesting reread bc my attitude towards Nathair is so different! I find him so bratty and he complains nonstop about his father lol poor Veradis is such a good friend to lsiten to him. also idk why i thought Veradis came up with the idea to fight like ants, I totally misremembered that

" As he left the room he brushed a tear from his cheek" so dramatic man. The atrocities this man is about to commit is astonishing. mind you, he already betrayed his king YEARS AGO but now he is using this to justify his horrible actions
