An interesting concept of 'blanks' and those marked; the story was engaging and I finished it off in a day. While some of the plot twists were predictable, it remained an enjoyable read. The ending, while symbolic, does not actually solve the situation or achieve anything for Leara aside from making a point - I am curious as to how the second book will develop. Also - be warned: blatant recycling of myths/fairytales.

Couldn't help but read it in a day - very engaging, the story flows well, although the plot twists are at times predictable. The only thing that threw me off is the blatant recycling of fairytales and myths - Pandora, Sleeping Beauty, Isis and Osiris etc. - while only removing the characters' names.
