Oh, I missed this!! I have such a hard time answering this question because I have such a wide variety of books and it's so hard to know which ones different people will prefer🙈🙃

I'm just going to take a stab at it based on your profile (and some of your ratings) and highlight a few (though they may be terrible choices 😆)

1. Looking for Atlantis - summer in an English village vibes; I had Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, and E.M. Forster in my head a lot whilst writing (and I've had readers say it made them think of Jane Austen, Anne of Green Gables, and Little Women). It's utterly sweet and cozy and charming; it's also contemplative; and it pulls your emotions alll over the place, in the most delicious of ways🙃

2. Brave Old World I'm not really sure why I'm mentioning this one? Mostly a feeling. And the fact that I just love it so much. It's a dystopian but more in the style of classic dystopians rather than the more modern YA dystopians. Very thought-provoking and sobering, but also fun and exciting (aspects of it remind me of an old-school action film :-p), and it has SUCH AN ADORABLE main couple 😜 Also, despite it being a dystopian, the main thing people have shared with me upon finishing is that it filled them with *hope*.

3. The Light Beyond the Sky - one of my personal favorites😍. Grimm-style fairy tale (witches and wolves and dark, enchanted forests). One of my most intensely philosophical books. It's quirky and weird and deeply atmospheric and mysterious, and, ultimately, filled with light. Lots of symbolism and allegory and such things.
