Despite moving slow it does pick up pace eventually. The characters are horrible in the most human way, forcing you to acknowledge your own human flaws as you read. You’ll hate most of them one moment, and the next, you’ll read a page that explains why they became that way so well that you can’t help but to feel sorry for them.

Slow paced. So far, the characters have little depth. There’s just enough where, perhaps with another writer, they and their stories could be more compelling. There’s moments where they are so earnestly human but those are so few and far in between that you don’t remember it.
