The first three chapters are truly disturbing, but I think chapter 3 is the hardest for me to stomach. Very poignant and thought provoking go. Asks some really important questions.

As a mother, the neo-pavlovian conditioning might be one of the most horrifying parts of it all. As a human in general, I really find the biological and chemical synthesis disgusting and inhumane. I'm not convinced these humans are human anymore. And it is clear this was written before certain scientific discoveries or else he may have tried to make the science of his world a bit different.

I still can't get over how disgusting the first chapter is and how similar it is to modern fertility science.
