Sunflash better meet his mother Bella in this one. I was so pissed when Mossflower ended with her thinking he was dead.
It’s funny how in Mossflower they have to solve a riddle and go on an adventure to reach the mountain of Salamandastron, while in this book Sunflash simply follows the coastline.

Veil is a terrible person who deserved to be banished; I don’t know why Bryony bothers going after him. He poisoned Myrtle the hedgehog, attacked and stole from a grandfather dormouse, and killed two foxes. When Bryony catches up to Veil, he attacks her and her friend.
