Middle was a solid 4 star book, and I can tell it was a second generation set of characters with how developed the parents/aunt/friends were, with multiple more characters to follow (twin brothers, cousin who accidentally killed a girl). But, not great start and predictable twist took it down to 3.5-3.75. I’m hesitant to round to 4 but will for now. Audio narrators were decent.

Dang it! It was his dad the whole time, like I guessed, in an effort to match make him a wife he would want. I guess as really enjoying this but that was a let down.

This definitely got better. I like that she’s not falling all over him. Since she was paid to mess with him before killing him, I initially thought it would be his dad to get them together. Now with her being forced engaged to him (just to get back her dad’s guns) he clientanata Wilson f else .
