1/3 of the way through this book and I have no idea how readers missed this. Think, Faulkner, Steinbeck, McCarthy, McMurtry, on any other twentieth century master-writer you can think of and Williams is on par with them. I will die on this John Williams hill… already. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
