Status Update

Emily Luebke is 70% done

So I have a lot of complaints about this book for so far, but right now I am most annoyed by the use of "appear" or "disappear" to refer to sounds. Not just a few times. Every. Damn. Time. In stupid places too like: the sound appeared to grow quieter.
How about: the sound grew quieter?
It's bad, y'all. Once I noticed I became unable to stop.
