This book wasn’t bad but I didn’t really understand how they ever thought their plan would work to promote the terrible boss woman. I liked the characters. I guess the theme is that people have hope when they work together and form social connections. Everyone in the book was poor and had a sad story. I was hoping things would work out for them more than they actually did but I guess that’s life.
