this is getting really creepy

i am so sad for this poor family. they’ve been through so much grief. and poor Annaleigh being right in the middle of all the wondering a about what’s happened to all her sisters. i have to compliment Erin on her ability to suck one into the story. i’m stalling because i’m at a scary part and i hate scary stories but i need to finish this book so i can buy TMOIE!!!

i like Cassius but i can’t trust anybody in this book apparently so

i’m so enthralled by this book, for lack of a better word. it reads like a historical fantasy, but it’s lush and full of beautiful descriptions. it’s incredibly dark and a bit scary, but it’s so intriguing and while i don’t quite know what the end goal is, i can safely say this will be five stars!!

this is so so amazing so far; very spooky too. very very good for fall and on a rainy day! projecting 5 stars
