All I knew about this book is it’s currently popular and presumably sci-fi? The back cover has praise from Blake Crouch (author of RECURSION, which I love), Steven Hall (author of THE RAW SHARK TEXTS, which I love), Scott Hawkins (LIBRARY AT MOUNT CHAR, which I liked a lot), Jason Pargin, and Stephen Graham Jones (both of whom I respect). Wow. This definitely makes me hopeful that I’ll love this book.

The Raw Shark Texts! Now there's a book I haven't thought about in a while. Big fan of Crouch, Jones, and Mount Char, too. This one was already on my TBR, but I might have to bump it higher 👀

I’ve only read the first two chapters but I DEFINITELY get why Steven Hall commented. It also puts me in mind of ‘Rick & Morty’ and, to a lesser extent, VITA NOSTRA.
