very good so far, the pacing is rlly nice and it feels tense like the stakes are there - why are we introducing SO many characters. im having a hard time keeping myself in that intensity and then immediately pivoting to a whole new pov

ok i need there to be more information abt the girl and less random backstories. like i want to know about the characters but it feels like we're just placing the plot out of reach for the sake of the build up, we can discuss these intricate parts of the characters later.

ok right off the bat im getting eery vibes. the little excerpts and the lady bird poem - creepyy. even the quality of the pages and the sheen reflecting off it (the one i got) adds to the vibe
