This chapter left a sour taste in my mouth. I had the terrible realisation that underneath our poised masks we are ugly creatures. Especially men. Egoistic. Lust driven. Cruel. When we are stripped from the control of our daily lives and trapped in chaos, it all comes seeping out. This book forces me to sit with the terrifying reality of our nature.
