I’m finding this a struggle. I think this might be my first DNF

The dialog is so forced, the friends are awful, it’s wildly over descriptive and metaphorical with no reason, and the science lingo is very VERY heavy handed in this first 100 pages ..

Someone tell me it gets better 🙏🏼
