Im a bit put off by how easy it was for thea to see alex as the love of the rest of her life but we didn’t get a bit of cynicism from her as a divorcee of a 13 years relationship

having a third act fight in the last 10% of the book was not on my bingo card. I don’t know how I feel. a part of me do think it is a valid argument but at the same time alex could have walked the first step and sacrificed his own fear for the good of opening up the conversation

I love how mature, emotionally available and knowledgeable they are about each other!!! tho the way the slowburn climax was handled (we got 89% of slowburn but when it burned it went from 30 to 100 in a blink of a eye) and I wished we knew more about the divorce and thea’s past relationship. she spent 13 years with her ex and it doesn’t feel like we know substantial things about their marriage

they have such good chemistry as friends I love reading about them in the beginning of their friendships (just like in the current times tbh)

I love how we get to see the two extremes of their friendship, the beginning and the current state, it makes the romantic part natural and easy to accept especially for someone like me who isn’t the biggest fan of best friends to lovers

you know what? I love a horny woman. like yes, you want this man and you should have him too
