Other Mommy has now gotten extremely upset and possibly killed someone. Russ and Ursula are scared as well as Ruth, they have no idea whats going on or how to even deal with it. I think Other Mommy might be symbolism for their marriage growing apart.

Ursula cleaned out Bela’s room entirely so nothing could be hiding. She then tells Bela its time to take a nap. When Bela wakes up Ursula is sitting on the edge of her bed and is confessing to cheating on Russ. Bela hears her dad coming down the hall as Ursula continues. When Dad comes to the door it turns out to be real Ursula. She sees Other Mommy on the bed. They go to a friends house. Russ doesnt believe her.

So now Other Mommy has shown herself to Ursula and Russ friend’s. Which really freaked one of them out and Bela told them who it was. Louis Anthony suspects something more is going on. Bela has started seeing Mommy and Daddo fight more and Other Mommy showing up more. Ursula doesnt believe that there is an “Other Mommy” and wants Bela to “stop this now.” Ursula and Russ are definitely having marriage issues

Oh wow this book is great so far. Bela having to battle with the fear of other mommy coming into her heart and meeting mommy and daddo is visceral. And now her biggest fear has come true, other mommy has come outside of the house.
